Hello There!
You've just entered the section of my website devoted to our BED AND
BREAKFAST accommodation in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

My husband, Herb, says I should never be left unguarded with time on my hands! Last time that happened, I decided to turn our Vancouver north shore home into a Bed and Breakfast Inn! To get started, Herb and I visited B&B's up and down the Pacific Northwest coast. We also looked at other types of lodging such as hotels, motels, Inns, guest houses, and turnkey rental cottages. By the time we got home, we had decided to make PRIVACY the operative word at our new B&B. And so, Chickadee Tree B&B offers you:


  • A large suite or cottage with living room area where couples, business people, families, or folks traveling together have room to spread out, relax, and enjoy each other's company
  • In-suite cooking and dining facilities where guests enjoy meals at their own convenience.
  • First Breakfast/Turnkey Rental arrangement available to all guests during 2001 and 2002. A variety of ingredients for your first breakfast will be stocked in your in-suite kitchenette when you arrive. From that point on, you may provided your own food or eat in any of our fine area restaurants. Recommendations and maps provided.
  • Private entrances and private baths.
  • Private phone lines.
  • In-suite cable TV, VCR, and free movies.

Add to the above a solar-heated swimming pool, year-round indoor hot tub and sauna, wood-burning fireplace, and a secluded rain forest property where nature walks start at the front door. All this is located just 10 minutes from the heart of downtown Vancouver and we call it CHICKADEE TREE B&B!

Our Bed and Breakfast offers:

  • Two self-contained suites and a cottage, each with private bath / entrance/sitting room or balcony / TV, VCR / fridge
  • Heated swimming pool, sauna, indoor hot tub

    WINTER RATES, November through April, 2001/2:

  • * NIGHTLY RATE: (non-holiday periods): $115 CND (approx. $85 USD) for 1 or 2 persons, $25 CND per extra person. 10% discount for families with 2 or more children. All children under 2 years of age stay for no extra charge.
  • NIGHTLY RATE: (holiday periods): $150 CND (approx. $110 USD) for 1 or 2 persons, $35 CND per extra person. 10% discount for families with 2 or more children. All children under 2 years of age stay for no extra charge.
  • ONE WEEK RATE: $600 CND (approx. $425 USD) for 1 or 2 persons. $100 CND (approx. $75 USD) per extra person. All children under 2 years of age stay for no extra charge.
  • TWO WEEK RATE: $1,000 CND (approx. $750 USD) for 1 or 2 persons. $150 CND (approx. $105 USD) per extra person. All children under 2 years of age stay for no extra charge.
  • ONE MONTH RATE: $1,500 CND (approx. $1,100 USD) for 1 or 2 persons.

    • SPRING/SUMMER RATES, May through October, 2002:
  • NIGHTLY RATE: $150 CND (approx. $110 USD) for 1 or 2 persons, $35 CND per extra person. 10% discount for families with 2 or more children. All children under 2 years of age stay for no extra charge.
